Magento is a globally used versatile platform for creating e-shops. It offers merchants flexibility and full control of their online sales channels. Magento has an intuitive administrative interface with effective marketing, search engine optimization, and a catalog of management tools that give marketers the ability to create pages tailored to their specific needs. This system has been designed to be completely measurable and backed by extensive network support.
The high flexibility of settings and a large number of plugins and add-ons that can be used by various online stores are the reason for the popularity of this platform. The transition from Magento 1 to Magento 2 is not just an upgrade, but it is necessary to implement re-platforming. This also proves how much is new in Magento 2:
- Improved customer experience
- Higher efficiency and scalability
- Accelerated sales growth
- Higher conversions and customer loyalty
- Optimized cloud infrastructure and reliable technical support
- Improved performance and PWA
- Simplified cart flow
- Better admin interface
- Mobile friendly
- Easier workflows and less IT reliance

The Magento platform combines digital commerce, order management, and predictive intelligence into a unified e-commerce platform for shopping across a range of industries. For a change, Adobe is a leader in designing and delivering digital experiences through content and data.

It provides quick order forms, uploads shopping lists, and stores them for repeat shopping needs. Re-orders made with a few clicks. Like the B2C module, it focuses on personalized experiences. In the module, it is possible to create custom catalogs and agreed prices. Websites adapt to customers based on their previous behavior. Each visit is analyzed. The content of the website and promotions are tailored to customers. Support is available 24/7 and websites are optimized for mobile phones. Magento Open Source
Open Source is a self-service trading platform with a large range of free business functions. It is ideal for small businesses that need a flexible digital commerce solution for online sales.
Magento Open Source provides all the basic performance and features needed to run an e-commerce business. This is an unlicensed version of Magenta that makes it available to start-ups and small businesses new to the industry or on a limited budget. Although this version does not have the same features as Magento Commerce, it can be customized with additional extensions or in-house development. Both Open Source and Commerce users can take advantage of Magento 2. Also, they have the same access to the Magento Marketplace, which allows users to purchase additional Magento 2 extensions for additional website functionality. Open Source is not a scalable platform, which can cause problems for companies to grow. At the same time, it does not offer Magenta support, which means that you will not have any help if an error occurs in the e-shop. It is also important to note that while it is possible to upgrade from Magento Open Source to Magento Commerce, implementation will be affected by the amount of customization that has taken place. For example, not all third-party modules are compatible with Enterprise, and as a result, some refactoring may be required.
Magento Commerce has more functionality than the Open Source variant. Designed for larger companies that require technical support for installation, configuration, or bug fixes. It also exists in the platform-as-a-service variant.
It is a suitable solution for companies looking for a more secure, scalable option than Open Source. Magento Commerce offers a wide range of instant features. While marketing tools can be integrated into Open Source, Magento Commerce can boast a range of advanced marketing tools, including content planning, dynamic customer segmentation, cart exit notifications, and personalization tools that have significantly increased sales for users.
It also allows you to set return and exchange rules and other customer service features, such as gift wrapping options, wish lists, gift cards, and in-store credit. Important features for any brand interested in improving loyalty and increasing resale.
Magento Commerce is designed for larger organizations and is ideal for those who require reliability and availability. It offers one native platform for B2C and B2B with the ability to add as many storefronts as you want. For B2B retailers, this is an ideal choice because it includes everything you need to manage B2B sites for multiple brands, channel partners, or key accounts.
